| DETAILS FOR THIS COVERED CALL TRADE | |||||||||
| Today I CLOSED this Covered Call position on (SOXL) | |||||||||
| Today, (15) Covered Call contracts were bought back on Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares (ticker: SOXL) for the (November)-21-2025 Expiration Date, $41 Strike Price for a Premium of $1.75 > SOXL was trading for $39.51 a share. Because I bought this option back early, I did not make max profit. The final profit / cash flow collected it posted below. Instead of making the original premium, I collected $1.45 or 3.38% of the total projected cash flow for this trade. | |||||||||

| Because this is in my non-taxable account I'm just going to use the premium to build the account size to make more premium versus buying dividend paying funds will save that for all my taxable accounts and with no tax implications we're not going to put any money in the tax bucket either | |||||||||

| REASONING FOR BUYING BACK THIS CCW OPTION (FINAL) | |||||||||
| WHY I CLOSED this CCW Trade on > SOXL | |||||||||
| We ended up buying this back early so we could use the rest of today’s trading day to then write at my cost-basis strike of $41 for next week. For that, we collect a very tidy $1.75. This could turn into an incredible trade. Even though I bought the shares at $42.90 and the stock dropped during yesterday’s huge market sell-off, it didn’t fall far from my cost basis of $41. That allowed us to sell a one-week covered call for $1.75 on 1,500 shares, which comes out to $2,625 for the week. Combine that with the $1,150 I already made on this trade, and this becomes a very, very tidy profit over just two weeks. | |||||||||

| Further Commentary as to why I did this trade | |||||||||
| SOXL (3x Leveraged ETF to the Semiconductors ) > It looks like the stock market will finish the day mostly flat, even though it looked like we might get a stronger bounce earlier. We’re going to write this at my cost-basis strike of $41 for next Friday, collecting $2,625 in premium. If our shares get called away, we’ll still feel great about it because we’ll have made over $3,700 in just two weeks on roughly $41,000 invested. | |||||||||

| BUY SHARES > SELL CALL | |||||||||
| For this trade, I already own the shares, so my total profit may or may not include stock appreciation. In your case, you would purchase the shares outright at the current trading price I’ve provided. You would then proceed to sell a near-term covered call, aiming to achieve the same premium for the same strike price and expiration date. | |||||||||
| OF COURSE, this is all projected and the final results could have you LOSING MONEY. Ensure you understand this trade and that it meets your risk tolerance. I wish you good luck. | |||||||||

| COMMENTARY AS TO WHY I OPENED THIS TRADE | |||||||||
| WHY I OPENED this CCW on > SOXL | |||||||||
| This SOXL (3) day trade , where I'm trying to capture anywhere from 1.2% to 1.6% for a 5 day trade will make me a projected 1.98% Cash on Cash on money invested | |||||||||
| Further Commentary as to why I did this trade | |||||||||
| SOXL (3x Leveraged ETF to the Semiconductors ) > Nice little sell-off following yesterday’s rally. I’ve got about $1.90 of downside protection on this very short 3-day trade, and I’m confident I won’t end up keeping these shares. If everything plays out as expected, I’ll collect over $1,000 on this short premium trade. But if I am assigned the shares at $41, I’ll simply write a near-term covered call since my cost basis is $41 — keeping the cash flow moving either way. | |||||||||

| If this trade goes as planned, I will have my shares taken at my strike price and I will only collect the difference between the Real Money and Time Value which is the plan | |||||||||

| This being an ITM Covered Call ... I did collect the premium of $2.75 but remember that I'm giving away my shares cheaper at $41 so in this case the Time Value premium profit could be $0.85 or $2450 in total premium profit if NO buy back. | |||||||||
