| CLOSEOUT TRADE | |||||||||
| BLENDED COVERED CALL POSITION HAS BEEN CLOSED OUT | CLOSED | ||||||||
| A “blended” trade refers to a situation where I initially purchased shares of a stock or ETF, and as the price declined, I chose not to average down by buying more shares. Instead, I purchased deep in-the-money LEAPS call options (typically with a 0.98 delta or higher) to closely mimic stock ownership. By using this approach and applying the proper calculations, I was able to lower my overall cost basis more efficiently compared to simply buying additional shares. | |||||||||

| WINNER | $12,190.00 | 9.06% | |||||||
| Today I CLOSED this Covered Call position on (DPST) | |||||||||
| I decided that with the $135,000 invested I could use this money by next week to make the -$1,625 in TIME VALUE buy back that this final trade cost ... the total trade made money but the buy back cost me money and the TV cost was -$1,625 ... so there is the question, can I make $1,625 by NEXT week with $135,000? and yes answers that question so we buy back and close out. Selling shares and LEAPS for a total profit. | |||||||||
| This overall trade makes $12,190.00 in Covered Call Premiums | Share & LEAPS trades closeouts which combined for the total return being this amount. . This would represent 9.06% on money invested. The final trade closeout = $4,900 will be applied to this month... the other profit was posted when those trades closed. | |||||||||

| WHY I OPENED this PMCC Trade on > Direxion Daily Regional Banks Bull 3X ETF (DPST) | |||||||||
| This trade on DPST starts out as a > (18) day trade where Im trying to capture anywhere from 3% - 5% for a monthly Covered Call Trade. This trade will make $4160 dollars which represents 3.09% premium profit on money invested. Should my shares be taken I could make more, break even of lose money based on where my LEAPS Call Option is priced (see below for those calculations) | |||||||||
| Further commentary and feelings on this trade | |||||||||
| DPST (3x Leverage ETF to the Regional Banks) > feeling that I could take $1,600 off the board for this week and then roll this out two weeks, because I'm not fearful of holding this position, as DPST is held up during this war where it's trading as low as $88 to $92. All I needed to do was keep trading in this range and slowly edge higher, like it is today, being up 2.4%. I'm comfortable with this trade. We're going to stick with it as it keeps generating weekly cash flow. This trade, if they take my shares, will have made me $13,696, even with a share loss of $3,500. | |||||||||
| With this new Strike Price, what is the projected LEAPS Value? | |||||||||
| If this trades ends as its projected, I will make money where my LEAPS Call Options will be profitable but my Shares will be sold as a loss. This is calculated and expected and the hopes is that I break even and make my money on the CC premiums. | |||||||||
