DETAILS FOR THIS COVERED CALL TRADE
Today I CLOSED this Covered Call position on (SOXL)
Today, (20) Covered Call contracts were bought back on WHY I CLOSED this (ticker: SOXL) for the (March)-13-2026 Expiration Date, $52.5 Strike Price for a Premium of $1.3 > SOXL was trading for $48.6 a share. Because I bought this option back early, I did not make max profit. The final profit / cash flow collected it posted below. Instead of making the original premium, I collected $0.8 or 1.52% of the total projected cash flow for this trade.

COMMENTARY AS TO WHY I CLOSED THIS TRADE
WHY I CLOSED this CCW Trade on > SOXL
We end up buying this back it expires tomorrow > probably gave up a bit too much premium > 0.50 cents > but now it gives me a chance to sit back watch this trade play out > I will do a March 20th > I need over $5,300 to make this trade green > I've already collected good premiums and now need $1,210 for break even ... so although down, its working (Im referring to the 2 CSP puts I lost money on) > the stock has fallen such that this option is down -61.54% which means we will use TIME to our advantage and close this trade, taking risk off the table and now have cash back in the account to make another trade >

What does this mean? If within the first week the option falls 50% I will buy back the option and look to roll for another credit ... if the option falls to 10% of the value, I will buy back and roll.
DID I COLLECT A DIVIDEND DURING THIS TIMEFRAME?
No, I did not collect a dividend because either > they did not have an Ex-Date during this timeframe > my shares were taken prior to the Ex-Date

LETTING MONEY BUILD THE ACCOUNT SIZE
Because this is in my non-taxable account I'm just going to use the premium to build the account size to make more premium versus buying dividend paying funds will save that for all my taxable accounts and with no tax implications we're not going to put any money in the tax bucket either

Further Commentary as to why I did this trade
SOXL (3x Leveraged ETF to the Semiconductors ) > wasting no time, we ROLL the last CC and use the cost basis discussed via emails ... $52.50 having taken a loss on the CSP's to obtain these shares ... we will play this weekly if I can.

COVERED CALL
DETAILS FOR THIS COVERED CALL TRADE
Today a NEW Covered Call position was opened using ticker: SOXL
Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares > when the stock was trading for $52.5 a share , I Sold (20) (OTM) Covered Call contracts(s) using (2000) shares for the (March)-13-2025 Expiration Date, $57.00 Strike Price receiving a Premium of $1.8 or $3600 in upfront cash flow.

COMMENTARY AS TO WHY I OPENED THIS TRADE
WHY I OPENED this CCW on > SOXL
This SOXL trade begins as a (7) day trade where I'm trying to capture anywhere from 3% - 5% for a monthly Covered Call trade. This trade will make $3600 dollars which represents 3.16% on money invested.
Further commentary as to why I opened this trade >
SOXL (3x Leveraged ETF to the Semiconductors ) > BUYING BACK the Cash Secured Put at -.01 cent time value cost , then buying the shares at the exact price ($52.50) where the CSP buy back happened, I preserve my Cash Secured Premium as I would be assigned anyway ... I will use this $57 as my cost basis to preserve the $57 cost basis ... meaning, my cost basis IS $57 and I will trade these shares accordingly
> as with every trade, I will manage this trade as it approaches expiration ... buying back the option if it adheres to my -50% and 0.10 cent guidelines. -50% guideline being, such this option price fall 50% or more in the first 2 weeks I will buy back and look to roll the option - if the this option falls to 0.10 or less (in most cases) I will buy back the option and roll it for another credit if it presents itself.

GOLDEN RULES OF COVERED CALL WRITING (AVOIDING EARNINGS)
WILL THEY HAVE EARNINGS?NO
Try to avoid Earnings Reports > Earnings can be a stocks most volitile moment so its important to try to avoid writing a covered call thru or near earnings. Even great stocks can move +/- 10% on earnings
GOLDEN RULES OF COVERED CALL WRITING (DIVIDEND EX-DATE)
WILL COMPANY HAVE AN EX-DATENO
Try to avoid EX-Dates > Companies that have dividends will trade differently in and around its EX-Date ... keep this in mind when writing a covered call as you might have your shares taken if its profitable for the Call Buyer.

HOW YOU WOULD BENEFIT FROM THIS TRADE
BUY SHARES > SELL CALL
For this trade, I already own the shares, so my total profit may or may not include stock appreciation. In your case, you would purchase the shares outright at the current trading price I’ve provided. You would then proceed to sell a near-term covered call, aiming to achieve the same premium for the same strike price and expiration date.
OF COURSE, this is all projected and the final results could have you LOSING MONEY. Ensure you understand this trade and that it meets your risk tolerance. I wish you good luck.
