DETAILS FOR THIS COVERED CALL TRADE
Today I CLOSED this Covered Call position on (MSFU)
Today, (5) Covered Call contracts were bought back on Direxion Daily MSFT Bull 2X Shares (ticker: MSFU) for the (December)-19-2025 Expiration Date, $45.7 Strike Price for a Premium of $0.7 > MSFU was trading for $43.73977 a share. Because I bought this option back early, I did not make max profit. The final profit / cash flow collected it posted below. Instead of making the original premium, I collected $0.65 or 1.36% of the total projected cash flow for this trade.

COMMENTARY AS TO WHY I CLOSED THIS TRADE
WHY I CLOSED this CCW Trade on > MSFU
The stock market has fallen off, taking the entire market with it. Microsoft has found itself drifting lower, which allows us to buy this option back for a nickel and then use the next two days to write a new 30-day covered call. This trade is simply going to float and keep moving forward. I have no concern about holding Microsoft for another month.

LETTING MONEY BUILD THE ACCOUNT SIZE
Because this is in my non-taxable account I'm just going to use the premium to build the account size to make more premium versus buying dividend paying funds will save that for all my taxable accounts and with no tax implications we're not going to put any money in the tax bucket either

COMMENTARY AS TO WHY I OPENED THIS TRADE
WHY I OPENED this CCW on > MSFU
This MSFU trade begins as a (9) day trade where I'm trying to capture anywhere from 3% - 5% for a monthly Covered Call trade. This trade will make $350 dollars which represents 1.4% on money invested.
Further commentary as to why I opened this trade >
MSFU (2x Leveraged ETF to Microsoft) > I’ve been saying this for weeks: I believe Microsoft was simply sold off after earnings as investors took profits. It stabilized around $480, give or take, and now it’s rallying back above $490. I’m confident it’s going to push back above $500, and if the market continues climbing through December and into late January, Microsoft could easily be back near its all-time highs heading into its next earnings report. Microsoft is one of the most rock-solid trades on Wall Street. We want to get involved when it’s trading at the lower end of its range, and with this Poor Man’s Covered Call strategy, I’m not just talking about it — I’m doing it.

Please note that this strike price is below my cost basis. I believe that over the next two weeks MSFU will not move above $48, but if it does, we will manage the trade accordingly. We’ll buy the call back, adjust our cost basis, and then roll into the January 19th covered call at the $50 strike.

> as with every trade, I will manage this trade as it approaches expiration ... buying back the option if it adheres to my -50% and 0.10 cent guidelines. -50% guideline being, such this option price fall 50% or more in the first 2 weeks I will buy back and look to roll the option - if the this option falls to 0.10 or less (in most cases) I will buy back the option and roll it for another credit if it presents itself.

GOLDEN RULES OF COVERED CALL WRITING (AVOIDING EARNINGS)
WILL THEY HAVE EARNINGS?NO
Try to avoid Earnings Reports > Earnings can be a stocks most volitile moment so its important to try to avoid writing a covered call thru or near earnings. Even great stocks can move +/- 10% on earnings
GOLDEN RULES OF COVERED CALL WRITING (DIVIDEND EX-DATE)
WILL COMPANY HAVE AN EX-DATENO
Try to avoid EX-Dates > Companies that have dividends will trade differently in and around its EX-Date ... keep this in mind when writing a covered call as you might have your shares taken if its profitable for the Call Buyer.

HOW YOU WOULD BENEFIT FROM THIS TRADE
BUY SHARES > SELL CALL
For this trade, I already own the shares, so my total profit may or may not include stock appreciation. In your case, you would purchase the shares outright at the current trading price I’ve provided. You would then proceed to sell a near-term covered call, aiming to achieve the same premium for the same strike price and expiration date.
OF COURSE, this is all projected and the final results could have you LOSING MONEY. Ensure you understand this trade and that it meets your risk tolerance. I wish you good luck.
