DETAILS FOR THIS CASH SECURED PUT TRADE
Today, (10) Cash Secured Put contract(s) were bought back onDirexion Daily Small Cap Bull 3x Shares (ticker: TNA) for the Dec-26-2025 Expiration Date, $46.5 Strike Price for a Premium of $0.9 > TNA was trading for $47.67 a share when I placed this trade. Because I bought this option back early, I did not make max profit. The final profit / cash flow collected it posted below. Instead of making the original premium, I collected $0.79 or 1.7% of the total projected cash flow for this trade.

COMMENTARY AS TO WHY I CLOSED THIS TRADE
WHY I CLOSED this CSP on > TNA
This TNA trade closes after (8) days of being on for reasons I outline below. We buy this option back, taking risk off the board. I give up 7 cents of the 90-cent premium I collected, and we make $790. We now have all of this money — about $46,500 — and can use it to place another trade over the next four days, likely using it for a January 2nd expiration, possibly on TNA or something else. For 11 cents to buy this back and take risk off the board, I have no problem with it. The option had fallen 87.78%. the stock has fallen such that this option is down -87.78% which means we will use TIME to our advantage and close this trade, taking risk off the table and now have cash back in the account to make another trade > > remember, stocks ebb and flow up and down, the buy and hold investor is hoping his > stock gets back to break even where the covered call writer has made money while holding the position (if done correctly) ... that is the Edge for Covered Call Writers

What does this mean? If within the first week the option falls 50% I will buy back the option and look to roll for another credit ... if the option falls to 10% of the value, I will buy back and roll.

LETTING MONEY BUILD THE ACCOUNT SIZE
Because this is in my non-taxable account I'm just going to use the premium to build the account size to make more premium versus buying dividend paying funds will save that for all my taxable accounts and with no tax implications we're not going to put any money in the tax bucket either

COMMENTARY AS TO WHY I OPENED THIS TRADE
WHY I OPENED this CSP on > TNA
This trade begins as a (8) day trade where I'm trying to capture anywhere from 1.2% - 1.3% for a weekly Cash Secured Put and 3% or more for a monthly expiration. This trade will make $900 which is 1.94% on money invested
Further commentary as to why I opened this trade >
TNA (3X Leveraged ETF to the Russell 2000) > Just feeling that TNA has not suffered much and is holding very steady during this recent sell-off, and now, with the markets up considerably, TNA finds itself moving higher. I could see the markets drifting sideways to higher, and this strike price may be challenged, but I’m going to go with it. It just won’t fall much below it — or at least that’s the thought. I said the same thing with SOXL at 42, and it found itself all the way into the mid-30s, so anything can happen. But I like this as a good starting point to plant my flag.

2 trade plan (Cash Secured Put + Covered Call) if needed a second trade >
This trade is , trade #1 ... a CSP for a premium profit of $900. If this trade expires worthless of I buy the option back profitable later , all good but if I were to be assigned the shares and the stock price in a worse case scenario fell an additional -$0 , I could then do an at my cost basis CCW making a possible $1.16 (hypothetical based on the trade numbers at the time of this post) so that would be $0.9 for trade #1 and $1.16 for trade #2 which would equal (these being the same timeframe for each) $2.06 in the same timeframe (that means, if this OPEN CSP trade is 1 week and are assigned the shares, the CC projected premium is for the same 1 week, so on)
> as with every trade, I will manage this trade as it approaches expiration ... buying back the option if it adheres to my -50% and 0.10 cent guidelines. -50% guideline being, such this option price fall 50% or more in the first 2 weeks I will buy back and look to roll the option - if the this option falls to 0.10 or less (in most cases) I will buy back the option and roll it for another credit if it presents itself.
