ITM CC CLOSEOUT
THIS 99 DELTA ITM COVERED CALL IS CLOSEDOUTCLOSED
This trade started as a 99 Delta ITM CC, the stock fell below my ITM CC strike price, I bought back the option and now this is a standard PMCC using OTM CC's to exit the trade at my cost basis.
Today I CLOSED this 99 DELTA ITM CC position on (LABU)
LABU moved considerably higher after this trade was placed. This was an in-the-money covered call, and the stock quickly powered above the $165 strike price, confirming the strength we were seeing in the biotech sector. As the trade progressed, we were able to capture the vast majority of the premium while the underlying continued to rally. With the position achieving its objective, we closed the trade by selling the 99 Delta Deep In-the-Money Call Options and locking in the gains. The final result: $1,950 in realized profit. Could we have held longer and potentially made more? Maybe. But that's not the goal. The goal is to consistently execute high-probability setups, manage risk, and take profits when the market gives them to us. Another successful 99 Delta trade in the books. Cash on the table, capital freed up, and ready for the next opportunity.
This trade makes $1950 in Covered Call trade profit. The stock has traded such that I've bought this option which makes $1950 This would represent 4.48% on $ invested.
THIS TRADE WAS PLACED INSIDE MY NON-TAXABLE IRA ACCOUNT

To understand the buy back cost, you remove the intrinsic value from the current real time option price from the current real time stock price ... this would represent the remaining time value left in the option. This is what you subtract from your original covered call premium profit to get your final covered call premium profit for this trade.
