LETTING MONEY BUILD THE ACCOUNT SIZE
Because this is in my non-taxable account I'm just going to use the premium to build the account size to make more premium versus buying dividend paying funds will save that for all my taxable accounts and with no tax implications we're not going to put any money in the tax bucket either

DETAILS FOR THIS CASH SECURED PUT TRADE
Today a NEW Cash Secured Put position was opened using Defiance Daily Target 2X Long SMCI ETF (ticker: SMCX) when the stock was trading for $36.45 a shares. I sold (5) Cash Secured Put contract(s) using (500) shares worth of money for the (October)-21-2025 Expiration Date, $27 Strike Price receiving a Premium of $2.77 of $1385 in upfront cash flow to begin this trade. This would be an (OTM) Cash Secured Put.
COMMENTARY AS TO WHY I OPENED THIS TRADE
WHY I OPENED this CSP on > SMCX
This trade begins as a (29) day trade where I'm trying to capture anywhere from 1.2% - 1.3% for a weekly Cash Secured Put and 3% or more for a monthly expiration. This trade will make $1385 which is 10.26% on money invested
Further commentary as to why I opened this trade >
SMCX (2x Leveraged ETF to Super Micro ) > Super Micro Computer (SMCI) stock is under pressure after the chipmaker released preliminary first quarter net sales of $5 billion, falling short of analyst estimates of $6.5 billion. Yahoo Finance - so I could see this falling even more ... likely this news will be absorded and over the next 2 weeks it will fall ... but to fall to $27? I cant beleive that ... so we do this conservative (5) contract trade for now
2 trade plan (Cash Secured Put + Covered Call) if needed a second trade >
This trade is , trade #1 ... a CSP for a premium profit of $1385. If this trade expires worthless of I buy the option back profitable later , all good but if I were to be assigned the shares and the stock price in a worse case scenario fell an additional -$0 , I could then do an at my cost basis CCW making a possible $6.85 (hypothetical based on the trade numbers at the time of this post) so that would be $2.77 for trade #1 and $6.85 for trade #2 which would equal (these being the same timeframe for each) $9.62 in the same timeframe (that means, if this OPEN CSP trade is 1 week and are assigned the shares, the CC projected premium is for the same 1 week, so on)
> as with every trade, I will manage this trade as it approaches expiration ... buying back the option if it adheres to my -50% and 0.10 cent guidelines. -50% guideline being, such this option price fall 50% or more in the first 2 weeks I will buy back and look to roll the option - if the this option falls to 0.10 or less (in most cases) I will buy back the option and roll it for another credit if it presents itself.

DID I BUY A DIVIDEND FUND WHILE WAITING?
While I hold this cash-secured put, I’m going to take the premium and put it to work by buying a dividend-paying fund for the timeframe.

Figuring I’ll buy this option back for $0.10 or less, I’ll take the entire premium (minus that $0.10) and buy a fund — making additional income and using my cash flow as efficiently as possible.
Dividend Paying StockSYMDateSharesTotal Cost
Defiance Leveraged Long Income SMCI ETFSMCCOct-2465$1,335.00
While I'm holding this Cash Secured Put premium until this trade ends I will use this premium less 0.10 cents to purchase this dividend paying fund to collect extra cash flow while waiting , I will then SELL the dividend paying fund and tally up all the gains/losses at the end of this CSP trade > for this fund purchase I used equal amounts of premium to purchase -> SMCC-> this many shares -> 65 -> using this much money -> 1335
