COVERED CALL
DETAILS FOR THIS COVERED CALL TRADE
Today I CLOSED this Covered Call position on (BITX)
Today, (10) Covered Call contracts were bought back on 2x Bitcoin Strategy ETF (ticker: BITX) for the (October)-31-2025 Expiration Date, $55 Strike Price for a Premium of $1.45 > BITX was trading for $54.73 a share. Because I bought this option back early, I did not make max profit. The final profit / cash flow collected it posted below. Instead of making the original premium, I collected $1.2 or 2.69% of the total projected cash flow for this trade.

COMMENTARY AS TO WHY I CLOSED THIS TRADE
WHY I CLOSED this CCW Trade on > BITX
even with 2 days left, we close this because I know I can get this 0.25 cents back for a next week ROLL > the stock has fallen such that this option is down -82% which means we will use TIME to our advantage and close this trade, taking risk off the table and now have cash back in the account to make another trade

What does this mean? If within the first week the option falls 50% I will buy back the option and look to roll for another credit ... if the option falls to 10% of the value, I will buy back and roll.
DID I COLLECT A DIVIDEND DURING THIS TIMEFRAME?
No, I did not collect a dividend because either > they did not have an Ex-Date during this timeframe > my shares were taken prior to the Ex-Date

General plan for my Covered Call Cash on Cash % investments > I like to generate a 3% Cash on Cash return on my money invested ... depending on the timeframe ... 1 week, 1% is ok but if 30 days I want more like 3% preferred

LETTING MONEY BUILD THE ACCOUNT SIZE
Because this is in my non-taxable account I'm just going to use the premium to build the account size to make more premium versus buying dividend paying funds will save that for all my taxable accounts and with no tax implications we're not going to put any money in the tax bucket either

REASONING FOR BUYING BACK THIS CCW OPTION (FINAL)
WHY I CLOSED this CCW Trade on > BITX
This option expiring this week has rallied considerably from my 50 strike, and when I ran the buyback numbers, I’m only paying about $13 to close this trade. But here’s the most important part — they’re going to announce a dividend, and with my cost basis at $54.78, even if I buy these shares back, I can write a 55 covered call, collect about $1.45, and potentially collect the dividend. So, we’ll go ahead and buy this back and roll it — collecting $1,970 on this trade. This trade is effectively closed, and now we’re rolling it primarily to capture the dividend, which I believe will be around $0.61 this week. In a short time frame, between the $1.45 covered call premium and the $0.61 dividend, we’re positioning the shares at $55 — hopefully getting called away there and locking in a solid profit. > the stock has fallen such that this option is down -93.95% which means we will use TIME to our advantage and close this trade, taking risk off the table and now have cash back in the account to make another trade

REASONING FOR ROLLING THIS MONEY VS JUST SITTING (FINAL)
WHY I OPENED this CCW Trade on > BITX
This > (4) day trade where I'm trying to capture anywhere from 3% - 5% for a monthly Covered Call trade. This trade will make $1450 dollars which represents 5.94% on money invested.
Further Commentary as to why I did this trade
BITX (2x Leveraged ETF to Bitcoin) > BITX @ $49.72 , I bought shares basically at $50.05 and tried to get a premium for this strike, the stock fell ... so took this at the moment , we take what the market gives us even if I tried higher , NO idea if it will/would get back so we do the call.

HOW YOU WOULD BENEFIT FROM THIS TRADE
BUY SHARES > SELL CALL
For this trade, I already own the shares, so my total profit may or may not include stock appreciation. In your case, you would purchase the shares outright at the current trading price I’ve provided. You would then proceed to sell a near-term covered call, aiming to achieve the same premium for the same strike price and expiration date.
OF COURSE, this is all projected and the final results could have you LOSING MONEY. Ensure you understand this trade and that it meets your risk tolerance. I wish you good luck.
